How Biotica® Skin Lightening System Works

The skin produces its dark pigment melanin in varying concentrations depending on genetic factors and exposure to UV radiation. Pregnancy and the use of oral contraceptives can further increase melanin production, usually unevenly. An enzyme in the skin called tyrosinase triggers the synthesis of melanin in the skin. The Biotica® whitening system uses ingredients that both reduce the activity of this skin-darkening enzyme and have a bleaching effect on already dark pigments.

The Biotica® Lightening Cream will give an overall lighter appearance of larger areas of skin, such as the face, when used daily. Gently massage the Whitening Serum onto dark spots until absorbed. Wait half an hour and then apply the Lightening Cream over skin as desired. Make two applications of each product per day for best effect. Results begin to appear within a week and increase thereafter.
