The Oregon Scientific Indoor Air Quality Monitor measures the air quality for the benefit of your health.  The EPA warns that indoor air pollution from Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) can contribute to cancer, respiratory diseases, asthma, allergies headaches and other ailments.

Monitors sources of VOCs include: cigarette smoke, paint, pesticides, personal-care products clothing, household cleansers and even pet dander.

Easy to Use: Designed to take readings every 70 seconds, every seven hours, or every seven days, this unit is customizable to need and sensitivity level. The monitor is designed to rest on a shelf or other flat surface. At the rear of the unit's base is a small stand that rotates out for this purpose.
The large LCD screen displays a continuous graphic indicator of air quality and flashes a signal when a room needs ventilation. If VOCs exceed the level you designate, the unit sounds an alarm. Also includes temperature and relative humidity gauges in this model, with the option of a Centigrade and a Fahrenheit scale.
Measuring 3-5/8 by 1-1/2 by 6-1/4 inches, the monitor can rest on a tabletop or mount on a wall. It runs on two AA batteries or the included AC adapter and features a 20-second blue backlight, making it easy to read in the dark.
